Tonight’s 10 game slate allows for numerous low ownership high ceiling plays. I’m doing the research to call out a few great sleeper plays tonight that will help give you the edge.
JaVale McGee ($3,700)
Even though the secret is out, JaVale McGee is still nearly min-priced tonight. Now that Anderson Varejao is gone and Zaza remains sidelined McGee is the go to center for the Warriors. McGee managed 11 points and 8 rebounds last game in just 15 minutes for a respectable 23.6 FD points. The Warriors’ centers doesn’t receive a ton of minutes, but McGee has been very efficient while he is on the court and I foresee a similar line tonight for McGee going up against the Kings, a game which has the highest total on this slate. A 20 point FD point night would pay off well for GPPs and afford additional bankroll for some studs throughout the slate. I don’t expect McGee to be more than 10% owned tonight.
Zach Randolph ($6,100)
The Memphis Grizzlies have some of their top scorers out tonight, with Tony Allen, Chandler Pasons, and Marc Gasol all riding the bench. Zach Randolph is coming off a big double-double game against OKC. He is projected to start at center tonight and should see some additional minutes. While it’s not a great matchup against the Timberwolves, Zeebo should still see enough minutes to provide ample opportunity to meet value and significantly raise his floor and ceiling. Also, look for JaMychal Green to have a nice bounce back game tonight for similar reasons. With all the options tonight at PF look for Randolph to have minimal ownership.
Last Article Recap
Last night I wrote up a couple of value plays for your cash lines. Devin Booker went off for 33 points to finish with 43.4 FD points last night (about 7x value), while Matt Barnes made me proud with 6 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 assists for a nice 25 FD point night (about 6x value). Looking forward to continuing to provide you with quality plays tonight.
