What’s going on gang?! FanDuel Bomb is back at it again talking about NBA. Personally, I am gonna try to write at least 2 articles a week on days that I am able to play. My goal is to get this website going again, but I understand it will take time. Today, we got an amazing 11 game slate following Opening Night. In this article, I will give you 4 guys that will basically be the building blocks in all lineups I play tonight (Cash & GPP) as well as a sleeper play that you could end up seeing in a winning GPP entry once this slate is over *insert eye emoji*.

Let’s get into this, shall we?

Damian Lillard ($8,800) @ PHO

Our first member of today’s Cour Four and to start to season is none other than Dame “D.O.L.L.A.” Lillard. Coming into this late-night game its wise to know that CJ McCollum will be out tonight for leaving the bench early during a preseason game. With McCollum unavailable to play, the TrailBlazers are going to need Lillard out of anyone on that team to step up and carry the team. Priced at $8,800, you are asking for 44 FDP for him to reach value. Going into a pace-up matchup with the 2nd highest Paced Team (102.9) last season and the O/U set at 218, Lillard will have a ton of opportunity to reach value. Having the ball in his hand most times in this game, Lillard is going to see an uptick in Assists, pull-up Shots and drive by layups. I could bring more stats into this, but without McCollum, I am 100% certain he is the stud PG you want in every one of your lineups tonight.

Jaylen Brown ($3,700) vs MIL

Going down the list, we have, in my eyes, the biggest benefactor of Gordon Hayward’s unfortunate injury. Approaching his second game of his Sophmore Season, it was clear last night that Brown looked really confident on the court while showing his improved athleticism at the same time. At $3,700 you are getting a starter that will play 35 minutes tonight and should more than well get more than 18.5 FDP to reach value. Not to mention, Jaylen Brown also gets the crowd behind him tonight since this is a home game at TD Garden. I understand this is more of a down-paced matchup than yesterday, but the production and his presence will definitely make a mark in the box score after tonight’s game sans Gordon Hayward and Marcus Morris. Without hesitation, get this dude in all of your lineups regardless if he’s chalky or not.

Jeremy Lamb ($3,500) @ DET

Another insane value play on the slate is Jeremy Lamb. I’m pretty sure FanDuel released this slate before Nicolas Batum had his elbow tear injury that’s gonna put him out for at least the next 2 weeks. That being said, another injury that benefits Jeremy Lamb is Michael Kidd-Gilchrist being out tonight. Projected to see 35 minutes because of this, Lamb is worth every single dollar bill tonight and should easily reach 5x value for cash games and even 6x for GPP’s. I’m a believer of Lamb this season, he’s a boom or bust type of forward, but I watched him and his 15.3 PPG in the preseason and he looks pretty explosive. Jeremy Lamb will have to step up tonight against the Bad Boys and in doing so, I believe he will play a huge role for the team tonight and will find himself in almost all of my lineups tonight.

NOTE: Jayson Tatum was very close to making this list. He’s another value play that will be featured in most of my lineups tonight.

Giannis Antetokounmpo ($10,200) @ BOS

Finally, to cap off today’s Core Fore, we have, in what I believe will be the MVP once this season ends: Giannis “Greek Freek” Antetokounmpo. At just 23 years old, Giannis is still ways from entering his prime and he’s already playing at an elite level this early on in his career. The 7’0″ Greek Giant is a matchup nightmare for anyone that has the misfortune of facing him. Also, being a position-less player, Giannis will be attacking in all corners of the court and there will be absolutely no one on the Celtics that will stop him. Using his height, Giannis should easily be able to contribute in all categories (Note: Blocks and Steals are worth 3 instead of 2 this season) tonight as he adds his first game in the books for his MVP run this season. Many players have praised this man in the offseason included Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant and playing for his father who passed away this offseason, Giannis will be a man on a mission tonight and for the next 81 games after that. Without Jabari Parker, the extra usage for Giannis will be there and it is really hard to ignore him tonight. Simply put, he will be the stud that will be in all of my lineups tonight.

Dewayne Dedmon ($3,600) @ DAL

That’s right, the guy that nobody will be talking about tonight and that’s a fact. In my opinion, this is one of the most slept-on FA signings this season and for the Atlanta Hawks, this was such a great signing for them. If you were fans of DailyFantasy305, you all know on days that I wrote about Dedmon, he reached value. When researching him, something interesting came up: in his last game against Dallas on April 7th, Dedmon put up 29 FDP (8.05x Value) in just 18 minutes. Being on the Spurs last season, he never had the chance to step up, but in games when he got 20+ minutes, he provided those that rostered him a healthy dose of blocks, rebounds, and points for the price. In a front-court that lacks depth in Atlanta and shared with Ersan Ilyasova, it is easy to see Dedmon highly excelling in the situation he is in and of course hitting value tonight. He will be featured in some GPP lines, but don’t say I didn’t warn you of his #CriminalOwnership potential!

Thank you all that tuned in today and gave the article a read from top to bottom, it truly means a lot to me! I will for sure be back another time this week with either the same type of article or a different type- we shall see.
