Week 6?!? this NFL season is going by far too quickly. Even with a good amount of games through the season, it’s hard to tell which teams are serious contenders yet. With that said, let’s get right into the slate and my favorite GPP stacks of the weekend.
Russell Wilson and Doug Baldwin
The first thing that stood out to me on this slate was Russell Wilson’s Price. We are getting him at a major discount as the 9th most expensive QB in a great match up. Last week Russell had his best game of the season against the rams who are one of the better pass defenses in the league. This week he gets an away match up against the Raiders, but this game will be played in London! London games are always exciting for the players and are usually higher scoring in years past. Oakland has allowed the 3rd most yards per game this year and have been terrible against the pass. If you play Russell, the obvious pairing is Doug Baldwin who has multi-touchdown upside. This is one of the more affordable stacks which will help you get more studs elsewhere in your lineup.
Jameis Winston and Mike Evans
Jameis Winston will be making his first start of the season in one of the best matchups of the week. This game has the highest over-under of the main slate with a total of 57.5. Atlanta has allowed the 5th most yards on the year and is allowing the 5th most fantasy points per game to the quarterback position. I love using teams coming off bye weeks because they get 2 weeks to prepare for their opponents. The Bucs and Falcons are in a prime position for a nice divisional shootout. I think the Jameis and Mike Evans stack will be a popular stack in tournaments but it is a strong one. I also love adding Cameron Brate into this stack. Jameis Winston has shown he trusts Brate over the years and Brate also gets the benefit of O.J. Howard sitting. Brate has touchdowns in back to back games and I think that will continue this week.
Those are my stacks! Good luck this week everyone!
