DfsMelvin’s Core Four: Week 15

Blake Bortles: This Texans defense Bortles get’s to dismantle this week has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks this season. This week Blake Bortles gets a shot at the same defense that Garrapolo put up 334 yards against last week. Bortles has topped 18 fantasy points in four of his last five games. Bortles has averaged 23.4 fantasy points per game over his last 3 games and has thrown for 6 Touchdowns. This Texans Defense has two of the worse cornerbacks in the NFL According to (PFF) so feel free to pair Dede Westbrook with him. Continue reading “DfsMelvin’s Core Four: Week 15”

10/18 Core Four Plays for FanDuel

What’s going on gang?! FanDuel Bomb is back at it again talking about NBA. Personally, I am gonna try to write at least 2 articles a week on days that I am able to play. My goal is to get this website going again, but I understand it will take time. Today, we got an amazing 11 game slate following Opening Night. In this article, I will give you 4 guys that will basically be the building blocks in all lineups I play tonight (Cash & GPP) as well as a sleeper play that you could end up seeing in a winning GPP entry once this slate is over *insert eye emoji*.

Let’s get into this, shall we? Continue reading “10/18 Core Four Plays for FanDuel”

12/8 Must Haves + Bonus Sleeper

Must Haves

Willie Cauley-Stein ($4,600)– Our first Must Have on today’s today’s 12 game slate is Willie Cauley-Stein. The Sacramento Kings superstar DeMarcus Cousins is suspended from tonight’s contest verse the Boston Celtics because he picked up his 16th technical foul of the season. Without Cousins sky-high usage rate, all Kings players should have a huge boost in value and production. I’m targeting Cauley-Stein because he should be in for a terrific spot verse a Celtics team who ranks 9th worst against opposing Power Forwards and are known for being horrific on the glass! In addition, WCS has been terrific when he gets minutes! In his last 4 games when he’s received 20 minutes of playing time or more he’s had 20+ fanduel points in all of those outings! I would highly assume he plays 20+ minutes tonight if he stays out of foul trouble! This is my favorite value play on the board for tonight’s slate! Bold prediction: Willie Cauley-Stein hits 7x value tonight! Yes, you’re reading this correctly… 7x value!

Willie Cauley-Stein Bold Fanduel Projection- 32.2

12/6 Must Haves

Wesley Mathews ($5,600): is coming off a 40 minute game in which he had 36.7 fanduel points against his former team. Wesley now has an ever more favorable matchup verse the Denver Nuggets who are known to be a fast pace team and play little to no defense. For $5.6k Wesley is a great mid tear option for your cash game lineups. With JJ Barea and Deron Williams still sidelined, the offense will revolve around  veteran forwards Harrison Barnes and Wesley Mathews. I’m expecting close to 6x value in this outing tonight in Denver. Continue reading “12/6 Must Haves”

12/1 Must-Haves

Harrison Barnes– Our first must have of the night is Mr.Barnes. Barnes has been as consistent as they come. The 76ers as terrible against defending the small forwards plus Covington is out. I expect Ersan Illysova to be guarding Barnes and that has mismatch written all over it. Over Harrison’s last two home games, he’s averaged a solid 36.6 FanDuel points. The Mavs have finally started to get into a rhythm and the offense revolves around Harrison Barnes. Mr.Consistency will show up BIG TIME in this one!

1/31 Must-Haves

Kyle Lowry ($8,700)– News has just been released that DeRozan will miss the next two games, that being said, Lowry is our first Must-Have on this nice looking 6 game slate. From what Lowry looked like in 2 weeks ago, to what he looks like now, it seems to me he has found his offensive game by having 3 straight games above 44 fanduel points! With DeRozan being out, Kyle Lowry’s usage rate goes sky high. I expect this game to stay in reach until maybe the final couple of minutes so Lowry should hit value with ease. Not much else to say here!

Kyle Lowry Fanduel Points Prediction- 44.7 Continue reading “1/31 Must-Haves”

1/30 Must Haves

Mike Conley ($7,500)– My first have in tonight’s slate is Mike Conley. Ok, ok, I know, Conley had just been an “OK” player as of late. He hasn’t reached the 40 Fanduel Mark in 6 straight games, but tonight I absolutely LOVE the matchup against the Suns who are VERY weak against opposing point guards and pretty much all positions. Even though Mike Conley is our fist Must Have of the night, I expect people to over-look him tonight because of his previous few game games on his game log. Mike Conley WILL reach the 40 point Fanduel mark tonight, mark my words.

Mike Conley FanDuel Points Projected- 43.7 Continue reading “1/30 Must Haves”

1/27 Must Haves

Mark Gasol– Our first must have of the day is Mark Gasol, Gasol is on a bit of a rant right now hitting at least 40 fanduel points in 5 straight. I always like to pick on Plumlee on the defensive end. Last time these two teams faced, Gasol torched the Blazers center for 47.8 fanduel points. I don’t see anything changing in this one. Gasol has such a great cash game floor that he is considered a great must have.

Mark Gasol Fanduel Points Projection- 45.4 Continue reading “1/27 Must Haves”

1/26 Must-Have/Sleeper Picks

Must-Have

Seth Curry is our must have of the night in all formats. With JJ Barea, Mathews and the newly injured Deron Williams all being out tonight, I see Curry being a huge part of the offense and getting heavy burn! For 4.1k he can easily hit 6x value if not more! There’s really nothing else to say about this pick… pretty obvious to me.

Seth Curry fanduel point prediction- 27.4 Continue reading “1/26 Must-Have/Sleeper Picks”
