What a fantastic NFL week 1 we got to witness! The Browns and Steelers tied, the Jets shocked the world, FitzMagic and the Tampa Bay Bucs exploded in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, and a new superstar duo is being emerged on the Kansas City Chiefs. I came into week 1 expecting less offense than usual but boy was I incorrect. Emmanuel Sanders, Kenny Stills, and Desean Jackson are among players who went off that was somewhat under the radar players. Week 2 Waiver Wire Pickups

Well, this is a first on DailyFantasy305: a collaboration article! Both writers @Fanduel_Bomb and @dylanticeff have nominated players that you need to be making a priority in picking up on your season-long fantasy leagues for Week 2. The art of stacking a receiver with a quarterback is important in NFL especially if you want that extra boost when they connect. When done right, you have a better leverage and edge compared to the playing field. NFL Defenses: Risers and Fallers

A good and reliable fantasy defense can be key to winning fantasy championships. Last year, “Sacksonville”, along with 12 other defenses, finished well above PPR monster Larry Fitzgerald (finished as a WR10) in points per game.  The key to any good fantasy defense is turnovers, sacks, and shutting out opponents, and while these metrics are very unstable from year to year, they are the most relevant in terms of fantasy points.  Some teams have done a great job this offseason adding new playmakers who can add valuable fantasy statistics to their team, while others have lost their edge and are starting to become older, slower, and less menacing.
